Manifesting Madness - The Shocking Truth

By Aaron Potts

Try not to take this the wrong way, but the sad truth of the matter is that it's YOUR fault.

No one likes to be told that they did something wrong, but unless your life is "heaven on earth", you stepped off track a time or two along the way, and you only have yourself to blame.

When you look around your life right now, the people and the circumstances that make up your existence are there because - directly or indirectly - YOU put them there.

As Esther Hicks says in the movie 'The Secret', we are all "magnificent creators" of our existence. The problem is that most of us don't realize just how much power we actually have because the true methods that we use to create our existence cannot be seen or touched. However, that power is there, and it is creating your existence at this very moment, whether you understand it or not.

The power that we are talking about is the Law of Attraction, and we wield that power with the thoughts that we hold in our heads, and the feelings that result because of those thoughts.

The science behind the Law of Attraction reveals that when we experience emotion, we create a very specific vibration. This vibration has a certain frequency based on the type of emotion that is being experienced and it acts as a magnet, attracting similar vibrations. Hence the name: the Law of Attraction.

Here is the part where you come in as the Creator of your existence. All through your life you have been sending out these vibrations, and attracting similar vibrations back to you. If your life had always been filled with joy, love, confidence, and other similar emotions, then that is what your life would probably still be filled with.

On the other hand, all of us have had other experiences in life that weren't that positive. Negative emotions such as sadness, fear, grief, frustration, shame, and anger are things that most of us have experienced, and most people have experienced them frequently throughout their lives.

So if positive vibrations attract positive circumstances, then by the letter of the Law, negative vibrations must also attract negative circumstances. This could be explained by the simple fact that you can't have good without bad, black without white, up without down, etc.

Here is the best part, though. Every single moment in your life is a chance for you to start over again. It doesn't matter how much negative energy you have created in the past due to the experiences that have been a part of your life up to this point.

You can make a conscious decision right now - at this very moment - to take control of these emotional vibrations and make the majority of them positive. It takes some work in the beginning because you will be used to having the same type of negative reactions to life that you have become accustomed to up to this point.

However, a simple decision to react in a positive way - to see the bright side - of any given situation will net you incredible results in the long run. You will instantly feel better just because you won't have the negative reaction that you would normally have, but the real results go much further than that.

When you continually experience positive emotions over and over again, day in and day out, you will be creating more and more positive vibrations that will be attracting even more positive vibrations into your life.

This may come in the form of material goods, money, opportunities, relationships, or pretty much any other positive things that you would like to have in your life. It may also simply come as an increased level of happiness, confidence, or surety of purpose and direction.

There is no way to tell exactly what the Law of Attraction will deliver to you when you attract positive vibrations into your life, but no matter what form it takes, your reward will be a positive one.

You will enjoy these positive experiences, and you will also know one thing for a fact:

It will be YOUR fault!

Amp Up Your Power of Attraction With Your Thoughts

By Kate Corbin

“You have to think anyway, so why not think big?” – Donald Trump

Thoughts are Things.

The human brain is an extraordinarily complex web of more than one hundred billion nerve cells which generate, receive, record and transmit Energy. When all their myriad interrelated combinations are taken into account, the number becomes astronomical. When you learn to use the infinite power of your mind, you are truly a Master Creator, capable of designing your life precisely the way you want it to be.

In his landmark 1937 book, Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill made his famous declaration that “thoughts are things.” Yes, thoughts are things. They are the building blocks of our lives. As we direct our thoughts, we build our lives in accordance with our desires. Building an ideal life is not as difficult as we once thought. It does not require hard work or pit bull determination. It does not require that we control every negative thought. It is merely the moment-to-moment process of directing our thoughts toward what feels good.

We Attract With Our Thoughts.

It is estimated that we think 50,000 thoughts per day. That's about one thought per waking second. When you direct and focus your thoughts, you amp up your power of attraction. Like starting a fire by concentrating the sun’s rays with a magnifying glass, intense mental focus causes a combustion of Energy and the invisible power of thought is transformed into visible manifestation. Thoughts become things. Dreams become reality.

Researchers are able to measure our thoughts as Energy vibrations. Each thought vibrates at a certain frequency and, according to the Law of Attraction, attracts people and circumstances that match the vibration of our thoughts. Fortunately, it’s not necessary to be concerned that every negative thought will immediately manifest in your life. The buffer of time provides protection from that scenario. For the same reason that you do not attract the object of your desire with half-hearted wishing, if you do not stay focused on a negative thought, compounding it with negative self-talk, you will not attract it into your life.

Nothing Happens To You.

Everything happens from you. Masaru Emoto’s research dramatizes the effect that thoughts and words have on the appearance of water crystals. In his experiments, he labels one bottle of water with a negative thought such as WAR or HATE and another with a positive thought such as PEACE or LOVE. After freezing the water, the positive thoughts display crystals of beauty and harmony while the negative thoughts result in ugly, misshapen forms. Recall the tantalizing line in the movie, What the Bleep Do We Know!? – “If thoughts can do that to water, imagine what our thoughts can do to us.”

Yes, imagine! You are as powerful or as powerless as your thoughts. Life is your canvas and you paint the picture of your life with the thoughts you choose. Your mind is the studio where you design and create your life to your own specifications, the office where you write the script for your life. Use the power of your mind to create whatever you desire. Use the awesome power of thought to create a truly magnificent, joyous, amazing life!

How to Get Rich

By Dawn Fields

Got your attention, didn’t I? I figured that title would get you to sit up in your chair and take notice. How to get rich? Hmmmm, let’s take a second and think about how nice and wonderful it would feel to “be rich.”

Take a second and think about if for a minute. How would your life be different if you were “stupid” rich (stupid is slang for “ridiculously”)? I want you to close your eyes for a few minutes and imagine exactly how your life would change if you had, let’s say ten million tax-free dollars. No let’s go higher, let’s say one billion tax-free dollars, and you had it right now.

How would the place where you presently live look if you were a billionaire? Would you move into a completely different zip code? How about the places where you shop? Would that change? Would your clothes, shoes and accessories look different? What about your hobbies and interests? Would they change? How would you look? How would you feel?

I don’t just want you to imagine it; I want you to FEEL it.

Rich people FEEL different than middle class or poor people do. How would you FEEL if you were crazy rich? How would you feel if money wasn’t an option? How would you feel if you never had to stress over money ever again? Perhaps if you were straighter than straight, there wouldn’t be so much hate.

Perhaps you like to travel, but because of money, aren’t able to take the type of vacations and stay in the types of hotels that you would really like to stay in. Imagine, for a moment, that you are on your dream vacation enjoying yourself. Imagine how you would FEEL.

Take a second and picture, in your mind, the life that you would have if you were a billionaire.

You want to know how to get rich? Well, this is how you start. You start by visualizing the life that you desire to have. You not only visualize it, but you FEEL it. You get really emotional about it. In order to be a billionaire, you must first FEEL like a billionaire—act like a billionaire, think like a billionaire.

In order to attract anything into your life, you have to FEEL it first. It’s all a part of the Law of Attraction. Whatever you are vibrating towards attracts its way into your life. No, you can’t just do this exercise once and five minutes later you are a billionaire. You have to think, act, and behave like a billionaire over and over and over again until it becomes your reality.

It works the same way with every single thing that you want in your life. If you want the perfect relationship, you will have to first visualize and FEEL what the perfect relationship means to you. You have to visualize it in your mind, feel it in your bones, and focus on it, over and over and over again. You have to do this enough that the perfect relationship feels as if it is on its way to you. You have to always have your mind focused on the perfect relationship. If any thoughts come to you that are different than anything that you have visualized, you must stop that thought, at once, and put your mind back on the perfect relationship.

If you want the perfect job, you must visualize what the perfect job would be for you. You must feel how it will feel to be in the perfect job. You must keep your mind focused on the perfect job and eventually; the perfect job will attract itself to you.

Changing any aspect of your life is as simple as changing your thoughts. Changing your thoughts is as simple as visualizing what you want and getting emotionally involved with your visualization. Visualizing it so much that it becomes a part of whom you are, so much a part that you behave, think and become your thoughts.

How do you get rich? You start by using your imagination and visualizing yourself as rich. Keep your mind focused on being rich and never let any contradictory thoughts enter your mind, regardless of what “reality” may be telling you. The law of attraction, which works at all times, will eventually attract to you the thoughts that you vibrate with the most.

What Do You Want? What Do You Really Want?

By Kate Corbin

"When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are, anything your heart desires will come to you." - from the movie, Pinocchio
What Do You Want? Desires and preferences are as natural as breathing but a lifetime of doing without or settling for less can numb you to your own desires. Throughout history, people have tried to suppress their desires. Perhaps their religion taught them that desires, especially for material things, are bad. Perhaps they were trained not to expect too much. Perhaps asking and not receiving became so painful that they quit even trying. Regardless of the reason, many people have lost touch with their own desires.

So, here's the most important question anyone will ever ask you - "What do you want?" The question is NOT "What do you think you can have?" It's NOT "What do you think you're supposed to want?" No more playing small. No more settling. No more following other people's agendas. The question is - "What is your heart's desire?" "What do YOU really and truly from the deepest part of your life want?" Decide what you want and ignore all the voices (both internal and external) that try to convince you that you can't have it or that you shouldn't even want it.

You CAN Have It. Ask yourself - "What would I go for if I knew I could have anything?" Well, go for it, because it's true - you CAN have anything your heart desires. With the Law of Attraction, the world is yours. The Law of Attraction is your hotline to Santa Claus, to your fairy godmother, to Aladdin and his lamp.

Allow yourself to want what you want and focus on the results you desire. Get so excited about the manifestation of your desire that you reach your natural high vibrational state of joy, empowerment and appreciation. When you get absolute clarity about what you want, you offer a vibrational signal as focused as a laser beam. Clarity and focus make you an extremely powerful magnet for attracting the objects of your desires.

"If you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?" - from the movie, South Pacific
Dreams into Reality. Have you ever wanted something with all your heart? When you were a kid, did you sit on Santa's lap and tell him about the bike or the doll that you wanted more than anything in the world? Do you remember a time when you just had to have something and you got it? Maybe it was a date with that special someone - or a sexy new car - or the promotion you wanted so much you could taste it.

Remember how it felt to really want it, refuse to take NO for an answer, and then to see it manifest in your life? Remember jumping up and down screaming I did it! I did it! I did it! That magical, omnipotent, proud feeling of I did it! What if you could feel that way all the time? Ohmigosh, YOU CAN!!! It's YOUR Life and you're the writer, director, and actor of this amazing, technicolor production called YOUR LIFE.

Freedom, Growth and Joy. Are you aware that it's not really the external thing that you want? It's not really the spouse or the house or the million dollar bank account. It's how you think the fulfillment of your desire will make you feel. It's the feeling of freedom, growth and joy you truly desire. Every choice you make is an effort to satisfy one or more of these three basic desires. It's always the feeling behind the desire that is the motivating force.

So ask yourself - "What will bring me freedom?" "What will bring me growth?" "What will bring me joy?" Asking these questions can be helpful in determining what you really want. Whatever you desire - spiritual or material or both - you want it because you believe it will enable you to feel free, expansive and joyful.

The Process. In accordance with the Law of Attraction, here's the process for manifesting your desires: Get clear about what you want. Activate the vibration of your desire by imagining it, visualizing it, intending it, seeing it, feeling it, tasting it, etc. Expect it and allow it, knowing that You CAN Be and Do and Have whatever you desire!

The Law of Attraction and Common Sense

By Kenneth MacLean

The Law of Attraction has two different aspects, or “harmonics.” The first aspect lies within the obvious, observable activities in the physical universe. The second aspect is invisible, involving a subtle, non–local phenomenon that occurs invisibly within the field of consciousness that composes and surrounds all things. It is this second aspect that is often considered “magical.”

Both aspects of the LOA, however, are united in that they operate under the rule of “like attracts like.” Not only people, but the atomic structure of matter itself reflects this principle. From this we can understand that both aspects of the Law of Attraction are necessary for manifestation.

Matter and energy, and thought itself, can be considered vibrational in nature (see the book The Vibrational Universe for details). The rule of “like attracts like” simply matches vibrations. Both aspects of the LOA work together, but it is important to understand that even on the level of matter, vibrational matching is the key.

For example, two companies might have an identical advertising budget, be involved in the same market, and advertise over the same media. Yet company A’s sales program generate terrific sales, while company B’s sales are flat. The difference, of course, is in the message. But what is the message? It is, essentially, a template of thought communicated through a physical medium. Thought and intention create the blueprint that determines how others respond to your message. They are characteristics of consciousness; immeasurable qualities, but the most essential ingredients for manifestation.

In other words, a series of actions is utterly dependent upon a blueprint of thought. The magic of LOA occurs when one understands the operation of the universe’s vibrational matching property on both harmonics.

“Common sense” is just the codification into language of universal principles. Common sense describes the innate understanding all of us have about the way the universe works. Each and every one of us has this understanding. Why?

Because human beings are, first and foremost, non–physical, Native State personalities associated with physical bodies. All of us are intimately connected with the universal medium and higher consciousness. When we become passionate, inspired, and creative, we allow that connection to become stronger and stronger.

It is impossible to prove the second aspect of the Law of Attraction, because it defines something that is (at least at present) immeasurable by the instruments of science. Some people have to die to discover their higher spiritual nature, but that is their problem, not yours! Skeptics and nay–sayers live under the same universal principles as do we all. Every human being is subject to these laws. When you begin to awaken spiritually, these things become more and more obvious. So don’t let anyone tell you that what you believe is invalid. Successful people have a vision and follow it, regardless of the opinions of others.

The Law of Attraction is both esoteric and practical, uniting spirit and matter. Both aspects work together to create a universe that is utterly fair, and empowering to all who experience in it.

If you pay too much attention to either aspect and neglect the other, things will go slower for you. Some believe that merely by thought alone, a person should be able to procure a new job, or more money, or a better relationship. Even though the second aspect is the most important, here there is too much reliance upon it. Thought and intent will create the blueprint and begin to open windows of opportunity all by itself, but you must step through them. You must act! And of course, those poor souls who rely only on the first aspect will work very hard indeed, but often have little to show for it. Our planet is filled with struggling, hard working people.

Common sense tells us that you have to know what you want, and have a strong intent to get it. Common sense also tells us that you have get into action as well. The great thing about the Law of Attraction is that the universe is set up to give you what you want. When you know clearly what you want, your desire is strong, and your focus is aligned with your desire, you get fired up and the actions you perform are effortless and exciting. The second aspect of the LOA automatically connects you with the creative energy of the universe and puts you in vibrational communication with the people and the resources you need! And when that happens, your success is assured, as long as you don’t give up along the way.

In our modern societies, the importance of the two aspects of the Law of Attraction have just been reversed. But both are necessary for manifestation.

Amp Up Your Power of Attraction by Having Fun

By Kate Corbin

“It is our desire that you remember that you are Source Energy in a physical body and that you came forth intending that this life would be fun.” – Abraham-Hicks

How do you answer the question – “What do you do for fun?” Before I lightened up and accepted that life is supposed to be fun, I was often stumped by that question because I thought life was about being good and overcoming obstacles and achieving goals. Now I understand that life is about feeling good and having fun and enjoying the journey.

Don’t you just sort of KNOW that Life is supposed to be fun? Isn’t there a part of you deep inside that says – “Yeah, I know that’s true. Having fun, feeling good, and enjoying the journey is what life is all about.” Perhaps you remember knowing this as a kid, before you were taught that life is hard and so very serious. I know, at first, it can be difficult to accept that we’re here for the pure joy of life. But, for me, it has become what I know for sure.

I love to hike with my dog and I call it my moving meditation because each time I get some kind of intuitive hit or realization. On a recent hike, it became crystal clear to me that – Of course, life is supposed to be fun! I am a physical extension of Source and I came here to have fun. I didn’t come here to work hard and prove my worth; I didn’t come here to climb a ladder of righteousness; I didn’t come here to stoically endure sufferings and deprivations. I came here to fully savor the joy of physical life experience!

Everything can be fun – including work. In fact, I am now convinced that most of the big money players are really just having fun. Ted Turner and Donald Trump are two of my favorite examples. These wheeler dealers are going with the flow of their desires and enjoying every minute of it. Following their lead, I remind myself daily to relax and have fun, whether I’m “working” or “playing.” When having fun is my focus, I’m connected to Source, I’m open to intuition and insights, and everything flows smoothly and joyfully.

Having fun and being lighthearted is also the best thing you can do for your health. When you laugh, you’re relaxed, you’re breathing and you’re open to Well-Being. We know from Norman Cousins and others that laughter and high vibrational Thought-Feelings – such as love, hope, confidence, and joie de vivre – have positive therapeutic value. When you vibrate joy and appreciation, your bodily conditions – in fact, every aspect of your life – will reflect that high frequency vibration and you will thrive in every way.

If alarms start going off in your head at the thought of frivolously focusing on having fun, keep in mind that whatever you’re thinking, feeling and vibrating is what you have to give others. Because we’re all connected, any improvement you make in your own vibration contributes to improving our world at large. What you vibrate is what you have to give, which means that feeling good and having fun is truly the best thing you can do for yourself as well as for others. So, go ahead. Amp up your power of attraction by having fun!

Understanding How Our Lives Unfold

By Charlsie Winston

Surely you’ve heard of the concept ‘your thoughts create your future.’

I think this is currently being talked about in all of the self-improvement programs. And, who of us has not read nearly all of them?

Why we think we need self-improvement, I don’t know.

Aren’t we just fine the way we are. . . Divine Beings, and such. Actually, I believe we are looking more for ‘transformation’ rather than self improvement. Okay, another topic for another day.

Back to THIS topic.

When you look at your life you may not be able to make the connection between your thoughts and what’s happening. To you it may seem that the two are entirely separate.

For many, many years I did not make the connection either.

However, after studying and coming to understand the Universal Laws and learning about Energy, I can now see how my thoughts, feelings, energy vibration and actions have been the determining factor in almost all that has transpired in my life.

Yep, I brought about all those ‘stuff ups’. Likewise, I’ve brought about some truly wonderful happenings. . . and, will continue to do so.

So, ‘who or what’ is responsible for our having or not having what we want? Is it that thing, or that person or?

Let’s explore further the idea of ‘your thoughts create your future’. Following are the basics of how this works.

We live in a Manifesting Universe that is governed by numerous Universal Laws.

As an example, whether we believe it or not, we see proof of gravity working every day. (Thank the Universe for this!) We probably don’t understand how it works. Yet, it does.

There are many laws that operate without our conscious attention, belief or understanding.

One Universal Law in particular determines whether you have money, positive relationships, success or anything else of value in your life.

It determines whether you live a life that is full of worry, fear and stress, or a life that is joyful and carefree.

This law is called ‘The Law of Attraction’.

If you don’t understand how this law affects your life, your life will probably appear to be unbalanced and uncertain. You will spend your time ‘reacting’ to everything and everyone around you, instead of taking proper action.

I feel confident you have heard the saying that “like attracts like”.

Why? You may wonder just what causes ‘like to attract like’?

The answer is. . . Everything in our Universe is made up of ENERGY.

Our thoughts are made up of energy. You are made up of energy. Everything is simply energy in varying forms.

Quantum physics has proven that this is true. And, science has proven that ‘like energy attracts like energy’.

All energy has specific magnetic proprieties.

Therefore, we are like magnets. As magnets, we are attracting things continuously, even when we are not aware of it.

This magnetic energy is also ‘vibrating’ at different frequencies. These frequencies determine the magnetic properties of the energy that we are vibrating.

Being so, it is your energy, your vibration, in alignment with the Law of Attraction which is the key to making changes in your life and attracting whatever you desire.

It is how you FEEL that brings about your personal energy vibration. And, of course, our thoughts tend to determine how we feel.

So, you see, creating and manifesting does begin with thought. Yet, there is more that follows and combines to actually complete the process.

Right now you are possibly believing that this is a lot of metaphysical mumbo jumbo. Well, like with the gravity example, it doesn’t matter what we believe about this. It still works.

Unfortunately, a large number of people live their lives just accepting things as they are. They hope for the best and all the while accept the worse.

They spend all their time focusing on and thinking about their problems rather than imagining and feeling the energy of how they want their lives to be.

You know. . . it’s that ‘life of quiet desperation’ thing. This is sad and is not how our lives are intended to be.

Once you understand the Law of Attraction and Energy and then align yourself with how it all works, you can change the circumstances in your life, if you want. You can attract to you that which you want.

Through your thoughts, your feelings, your energy vibration and your actions you can create and manifest how your life unfolds!

How Life Works - The Rules of the Game

By Kate Corbin

Now that’s a bold title, isn’t it? So, what ARE the rules of this Game called Life? Clearly we can expect a better outcome when we understand and apply the appropriate rules to the particular game we’re playing. What if the Seattle Mariners baseball team were invited by the Los Angeles Lakers to play basketball? No matter how well trained Seattle is, no matter how hard they try, they don’t have a chance. Their bats and balls are ineffective on a basketball court. Their rules don’t match the game. It’s the same with Life. To play and win and enjoy the game, it’s essential to understand the rules. The number one, most important rule to understand is the Law of Attraction.

"We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts, we make our world."
-- Buddha

Law of Attraction. According to this Universal Law, we magnetize and attract to ourselves whatever we focus on -- whether we want it or not. For example, if you think about and imagine yourself feeling exuberantly healthy all the time, you are attracting vibrant good health. If you worry about some dreaded illness and read scary statistics about the vast numbers of people who are afflicted with it, you are attracting illness.

When you focus on the object of your desire, it doesn’t matter if you wish upon a star, offer prayers, or practice meditation, you are applying the magic of the Law of Attraction. This magic is not the exclusive province of any particular religion or philosophy. This magic is inherent in Life.

Thought-Feelings. I like to view Thought-Feelings as one hyphenated word because these two guys -- thoughts and feelings -- are the dynamic duo. Thoughts produce feelings. Choose a Thought -- Get a Feeling.

Thought-Feelings are vibrational Energy which we are constantly transmitting to the Universe. This vibrational Energy attaches, like a magnet or a sticky note, to universal Energy that matches our transmission. That’s why it’s true that what goes around comes around. What You Think + What You Feel = What You Attract.

When you give your attention to something, you are focusing Energy toward it and connecting vibrationally with it, and the physical manifestation will follow. The caveat -- Be careful what you ask for -- is apt since the Law of Attraction works equally well for creating what you want as for creating what you do not want.

Well-Being is Your Natural State. Joy is your natural state. Vibrant good health is your natural state. Thriving is your natural state. Prosperity is your natural state. Your natural state is high frequency pure Life Force Energy. Because the fundamental essence of the Universe is joy, when you feel joy, you are vibrating in concert with the current of Source Energy. When you are connected to this continuous inexhaustible flow of creative life force, you are literally Full of Life.

"Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take
your eyes off the goal."
-- Hannah Moore

The Cosmic Café. The menu at the Cosmic Café is absolutely unlimited and you can have all the scrumptious items you desire. You place your order via your Thought-Feelings and the Cosmic chefs prepare it for you, fulfilling your request without judgment. The Cosmic Café does not distinguish between what you want and what you don’t want. It simply responds to your vibrational Energy – Coming right up! Then, unless you resist it with limiting beliefs, your order will be placed before you. The Law of Attraction explains how to order and receive whatever you desire.

If you are joyous and Life is a thrilling adventure for you, the Cosmic Café will serve you endless delicacies to enjoy. If you think Life is a series of obstacles, the Cosmic Café will serve you difficulties day after day. In the Cosmic Café, you get what you vibrate.

The Law of Attraction - More Than Goal Setting and Affirmations Alone

By Chonticha Marijne

Did you know that every thought that we think creates a vibration? Negative thoughts create negative feelings that lead to low frequency vibrations, whereas positive thoughts create positive feelings that produce high frequency vibrations. According to the universal Law of Attraction, "vibes" attract like "vibes". Have you ever noticed how, when you're feeling down and depressed, you attract situations that are in line with your state of mind? So logically, the key to attracting only the things that you desire into your life, is to vibrate positive energy. Okay, that sounds simple enough...but how do you DO that?

"If you want your life to be more rewarding, you have to change the way you think." - Oprah

We spend far too much time worrying -- about the future, about paying the bills, about upcoming exams, about our health, about getting that promotion. What we're actually doing when we worry about any situation, is concentrating all our energy on something that we don't want. Hate, worry, fear, jealousy, anger, sadness are all emotions that make us vibrate negatively. By focusing on unwanted situations we are actually attracting the exact situations that we want to avoid! We would be doing ourselves a favor by focusing only what we DO want, instead of wasting time and energy on the things that we DON'T want.

Opposites Do Not Attract

Obviously, no one can feel good all day long, every day. The key is to do the things that make you feel good as often as you can. Play uplifting music while you drive to work, avoid the television programs that produce negative feelings, don't read the newspaper if the content affects you negatively, interact only with positive-minded people... just let go and have fun! Learn to monitor your thoughts...if you notice yourself thinking a negative thought, immediately negate its effect by focusing on something that makes you feel good. Remember, there is nothing more important than feeling good! Keep a photo of your kids or pet or favorite actor nearby to help you make that switch. Be grateful for the things that are going well in your life. Do whatever it takes to generate that upbeat feeling, because opposites do not attract...but like certainly will attract like. The Law of Attraction is on the mark each time and it does not make mistakes!

"Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe it can achieve." - Napoleon Hill

In order to get what you desire in life, you have to give those desires regular attention. Fantasize, dream, imagine, focus... for what you create in your mind, you create in reality. If it's a specific car that you want, order a brochure of it and look through it every day. Think about what color you want and which accessories and options your model has. If it's a fantasy vacation in the Maldives or the Caribbean, compile your own colorful screensaver, fantasize about those white beaches and crystal clear waters abundant with tropical fish. Paste pictures of your dream home or that sleek yacht that you desire on a board and look at it often. Be excited about it! Focus wholeheartedly and with certainty on what you want, and do so in this moment. Believe that you have what you desire now, today, in this present moment. Focus on how good that makes you feel, and try to generate that feeling as often as you can.

Don't confuse the Law of Attraction by being inconsistent in your desires. Don't keep changing your mind, otherwise there's no way for what you ask for to find its way to you. Be consistent, be determined...but leave the "how" out of it. If you decide the method and schedule by which your desires will come to you, you're limiting your possibilities to only what you can think of. After all, what if there's something better out there than what you can imagine? Just trust that it is happening now and allow it to come to you. Follow where your intuition leads you. Don't worry about it, don't look for proof, don't start doubting.

Affirmations are a form of advertising

If you do find that doubts and negative self-talk are getting in your way, you can apply positive affirmations. When used consistently, affirmations will do away with your limiting beliefs and replace them with thoughts that will help you achieve what you desire. Does advertising work? Sure it does - there's a multibillion dollar industry that proves it and affirmations are a form of advertising with only you as the target audience. Affirmations must be stated in the "I" form, in the present tense and always positively. They should also invoke a positive emotion. For instance: "I deserve large sums of money that allow me to have more fun with my family", "I choose to effortlessly earn $100,000 per year", "I enjoy working out regularly and maintaining a trim and slim body that turns heads", "I choose to attract only healthy and positive people into my life who help me achieve my goals"; "I choose to create a positive, healthy and joyful lifestyle for myself". You can write them down everyday, or use them as a screensaver, or buy special affirmation or goal setting software that you can use on your computer.

If you're skeptical about how the Law of Attraction can affect you, just try being happy and positive for a month. It will amaze you how easy it is to get things going your way in that short period of time. A lot can be achieved in relatively little time -- why waste any of it by being negative? Get out there and manifest what you want!

The Law of Attraction and Intent

By Keith Renninson

It wasn’t long after I discovered the Law of Attraction from author Lynn Grabhorn that I was introduced to the same principles taught by Esther and Jerry Hicks who originated this line of thinking channeled through the entity known as Abraham. In both writings, the word intent was prominent, and rightfully so.

As we study the energy surrounding our thoughts it would seem so obvious that even though our emotional energy creates, it’s the words used in our thoughts that create the emotional state.

If I were to make the statement, “I intend to write four exciting articles today and happily post them all on the Internet before 5 pm,” the words have power, the power to start and complete a task and meet a deadline with joy.

If, on the other hand, I wrote, “I’ll try to finish four articles by the end of the day,” the words are weak, non-committal, and lack drive and determination, let alone positive energy.

Even though this is a simple use of the word intent it gets my point across. We can live our lives with weak words and lackluster intent or add happiness and zest to bring sparkle to our lives and live intently.

I am new to the Law of Attraction, in just the past two years, but I have seen a significant shift in my energy and the outcome of my intent since applying it on a daily basis. It’s hard not to notice how my life has changed: constant happiness and positive outlook, daily accomplishments achieved without fear of rejection, and a never-ending flow of wonderful experiences arriving at my doorstep. These are things I’ve asked for while on the required emotional high.

Of course, there has also been the successful and ever-present request for the perfect parking spot, the good table in a nice restaurant, a positive outcome in health issues, success in a business sale, etc. etc. That’s the fun of the Law of Attraction and it should be; we need to find fun in the process, not take it too seriously with big issues right away because they take time to see results.

It can be said without a doubt that most of us are not patient, right? Well, this is a new science, a new way of thinking and it will take time to understand our power and use it with intent, desire and passion. I don’t know about you, but I intend to get there with style and quality...and soon.

Anyway you look at it; it’s fun to ponder.

How to Amp Up the Power of Law of Attraction

By Kate Corbin

“Think of the power that’s in the universe – moving the earth, growing the trees. That’s the same power within you, if you’ll only have the courage and the will to use it.” – from Charlie Chaplin’s movie, Limelight

How can we make the Law of Attraction work even more powerfully in our lives? How can we amp up our manifesting power? What is the magic ingredient that adds the driving force, the Big Mo, the alchemy to the attraction process? It is emotion. And the intensity of our emotion determines our power of attraction.

We activate our thoughts and give them life by adding emotion. The classic example of the power of intense emotion is the 100-pound woman who lifts a 4,000-pound car to free her child who is trapped beneath it. When we want something as unequivocally as this mother wants to save her child, our strength and ability increase exponentially and we become invincible.

Do you have any idea what a powerful being you are? Do you realize that the entire Universe is at your service? You are a Master of the Universe, fully empowered to create your life in exact accord with your thoughts and feelings. And what activates and increases your power to create? Strong desire.

You can align with the object of your desire by adding emotional power, by getting excited about it, by wanting it with passion, by getting clarity about it and offering a signal as focused as a laser beam. We attract in accordance with our vibrational alignment. To harmonize vibrationally with your desire, find the feeling place of your desire by imagining as vividly as possible that you are living your dream NOW.

As you begin to EXPECT good things, that expectation acts as a powerful attractor to bring even more good things into your life. Energize your desires by refocusing with passion, clarity and determination, by stating confidently: I am healthy! I am wealthy! Everybody loves me! I’m always so lucky! Everything comes easily to me! But most of all, declare with all your heart – I am absolutely and eternally wonderful and worthy of everything I desire.

By focusing with strong emotion, your power of attraction is amplified. Here are some great ways to energize your desires and amp up your power:

  • direct your thoughts with focus and clarity
  • decide to feel good and maintain a sky high vibration
  • feel appreciation
  • make up your mind
  • set your intention
  • dream, imagine and visualize
  • believe and expect
  • infuse your desire with passion and enthusiasm

Emotion is the magic ingredient that will make the Law of Attraction work even more powerfully in your life. Emotion in the form of strong desire gives you the power to design and create your destiny. With emotion, clarity and focus, you are a powerful magnet for attracting into your life anything and everything you desire!

Feel Your Way to Decisions with the Law of Attraction

By Kate Corbin

“Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.”
– Goethe

Get Clear About What You Want.

The Law of Attraction is the Universal Law which states that you attract into your life whatever you focus on. The first step in applying the Law of Attraction is to decide what you want. And sometimes it’s just not so easy to know. The best way to decide what you want is to FEEL YOUR WAY. Feel your way to decisions by always asking yourself – “How does it feel?” Allow your feelings to guide you in everything you do.

The first step in feeling your way to decisions is to recognize what you do NOT want. This provides more clarity about what you DO want. In light of the Law of Attraction, it’s not a great idea to spend a lot of time focused on what you don’t want. But it is helpful to know what you don’t want in order to become clearer about what you do want.

Second, let go of limitations. Base your decisions solely on how you feel about having a particular experience. Avoid making decisions based on whether you believe you deserve it or whether you can afford it or whether you think it will work out. YOU are the one who decides whether something will work out or not, right? This is a crucial point. YOU are the Decision Maker for your Life. Hold tenaciously to your right to choose and go for what feels good to you.

Next, let go of should and supposed to. Want what you truly want and forget about what you should want or what you’re supposed to want. These words generally relate to someone else’s expectations for you and you want your desires to be firmly fixed on what feels right to YOU. It’s a matter of realizing that you’re in charge. It’s not fate. It’s not circumstances. It’s not other people. It’s YOU!

Unleash Your Imagination. As you dream, as you imagine your ideal life, what you want will become crystal clear, especially as you dream without limitations or restrictions. If you find yourself saying I want this but it’s not practical / my spouse wouldn't approve / I don’t have time – dismiss everything that came after the but and go back to I want this. Unleash your imagination and hold on to the feeling of what you want – I want to live in a chateau in Provence / I want to sing the national anthem at the World Series / I want to take a year off and sail around the world.

Unleash your imagination by letting go of limitations, restrictions, and external expectations. Then feel your way to the fabulous, high vibrational feelings of freedom, growth and joy.

“Climb every mountain. Ford every stream. Follow every rainbow
until you find your dream
.” – from the movie, The Sound of Music

Follow Your Bliss. In The Sound of Music, when Maria falls in love with the Captain, thus complicating her plans to become a nun, Mother Superior's advice is basically - Follow your bliss. Life is continually evolving and you are continually growing, so monitor how you feel and make adjustments along the way. Feel your way. The more you follow your bliss and remain open to expanding desires, the richer and fuller your life becomes. Feel your way. Be open to the next great adventure. Climb every mountain.

Manifestation and The Law Of Attraction

By Alan Linde

Yes, you can have anything your heart desires through applying the universal law of attraction. However, the key is to really be in touch with your Higher Self in order for your true heart’s desire to manifest for you on a conscious level. If a desire comes to you which is primarily revealed only through your personal ego – your lower self – without actual guidance from your Higher Self, then this desire has a lesser chance of manifesting.

How then do you tap into that part of you which is in touch with your Higher Self ? The key is through meditation. By stilling the body and the mind and allowing your Higher consciousness to flow through you in order to guide and direct your true desires. Turning your energies inward and closing off all outside distractions allows you to focus your attention on your Higher consciousness which resides at the center of your mind.

Now, once you are in touch and aligned with your true heart’s desire as revealed by your Higher Self, you can begin to apply various manifestation concepts to nourish your desire and bring it into fruition.

This is where the fun really begins!!!!

How To Manifest What You Truly Want For Your Life

Apply the following techniques in order to manifest your heart’s desire:

First, calm your body and your mind by sitting in a quiet place, close your eyes, and turn your attention inward and focus on your third eye between your eyebrows. Take 3 deep breaths-in through the nose and out through the mouth. As you exhale, repeat the sound of “aah.” Next, breathe in through your nose and exhale through your nose and focus on your breath. Do this 3 times. Now that your body and mind are relaxed, you can begin to visualize your desire as it is revealed to you.

Once you have experienced what you feel is a true desire, then you can begin to visualize this desire in great detail already fulfilled in your mind’s eye. Create a mental movie of this desire in as much detail as possible. Use all your senses to see, hear, touch, taste, and above all, feel, the end result in your mind’s eye.

C

apture the feeling state associated with your desire. Would you feel strong, powerful, love, peace, joy, having achieved your desire? The feeling state linked to the visualization fuels the flame to manifest your desire.

Practice these techniques on a regular basis and make miracles happen in your life!!!!

Cultivating an Attitude of Gratitude

By Jan Marie Dore

The practice of gratitude is a powerful tool for recreating your life so that you regularly experience happiness, joy, and contentment. Gratitude is simply a feeling of thankfulness and appreciation for all that is. Grateful thoughts align your heart, mind, and soul.

Opportunities are given to you in every moment to be grateful for what you have and what you experience. Beauty, richness, and love already exist in your life. There are gifts and opportunities in every situation. The core of gratefulness is having an awareness of these opportunities inherent in life events and circumstances, and then thoughtfully choosing your response.

Gratefulness is about enjoying the sights, sounds, smells and abundance all around you, appreciating all of your emotions and feelings, and celebrating the blessings of family and community.

We all have the ability to make our lives even richer and more positive by noticing daily events, appreciating the benefits we receive, and being mindful of surprises. You have the power to control whether your thoughts will be positive and focused on what’s going well in your life or negative and focused on what is not going well.

You can be an example of happiness and gratefulness by expressing appreciation to people on a regular basis. Let the people you care about know that you are grateful they are in your lives – and why.

Having much to be thankful for does not diminish the reality of sadness, disappointment, or discouragement, or the need to feel those feelings at times. You can, though, intentionally reframe painful or disappointing events as opportunities for growth and learning, and deliberately look for the silver linings.

Begin to notice if your words and thoughts are full of complaints about what is lacking in your life. By applying gratitude daily in your life, it’s possible to achieve peace and contentment in a demanding, overwhelming, and sometimes disappointing world.

You can begin right now to see the perfection and beauty in everything and everyone. It’s a habit of mind!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Here are five intentional practices to feel more peace and contentment and to make your life richer and more positive:

1) Gratitude Journal

Create your own personal gratitude journal - a place to list your blessings on a regular basis. Record the small and large gifts and moments that are enriching your life every day. You can also create a family gratitude journal where everyone makes entries.

2) Gratitude Ritual

Create a gratitude ritual. Before going to bed at night, glance back over your day and reflect on moments of grace, abundance, joy, friendship, and contentment – the things that you enjoyed or felt blessed by that day. Nightly, record three things that went well each day and why they went well.

3) Evening Meal Blessing

Pause before your evening meal to acknowledge the things that make your life abundant and meaningful.

4) The Gratitude Alphabet

This exercise works like magic when you need a change in attitude. Either aloud or in writing, beginning with "A", think of the first thing that comes to mind that you are grateful for that starts with that letter and say (or write) ‘I am grateful for ______.‘ Do this quickly without too much thought. Continue until you have reached "Z". You might also share this exercise with your loved ones, speaking aloud alternate letters.

I am grateful for Apples
I am grateful for Beauty
I am grateful for Chocolate
I am grateful for DVD’s
I am grateful for Email
I am grateful for Friends
I am grateful for Grass
I am grateful for Hugs
…. . you get the idea

5) Gratitude Affirmation

Practice gratitude by reading this affirmation on contentment:

"This day, I am content.
I am grateful for what I have and for what I do not have.
I learn from both joys and disappointments.
I refrain from criticism and fault-finding.
I don't try to change others.
I accept myself as I am and as I change."

Yoga and Gratitude

By Jennifer Jordan

Gratitude is something we often forget about on a day to day basis. Sure, we try to maintain it, appreciating that we have things that we want, like good jobs, and grateful that we don’t have things that we don’t want, like bird flu. But, no matter how hard we try to have it, in every day life it’s easy to lose; gratitude often falls through the cracks like the ease of car keys becoming lost in the cushions of a couch.

Gratitude is a virtue or law that manifests gratefulness, appreciation, and thankfulness. It is thought of as the first law of attraction, the springboard from which a pathway towards moment to moment self awareness gains momentum. It is what allows us, as human beings, to grow.

When it comes to yoga, some may assume that gratitude means tipping your instructor at the end of class. However, gratitude and yoga actually go hand in hand, with each affecting the other. This actually makes a lot of sense, considering both gratitude and yoga are strong advocates of self awareness and mindfulness - they on are the same team, coaching each of us on how to ease into the flow of life, rather than bumping up against life and losing sight of what we are thankful for.

Yoga promotes a person’s emotional and physical well being. And, as studies have shown, so does gratitude. It’s as if both are vitamins for the soul. Yoga and gratitude both improve a person’s ability to handle stress (which directly impacts physical health) and improve the way a person interacts with others. Both also rid the body of negative emotions, replacing them with positive ones. When this happens, good health generates itself.

Many people likely find gratitude in exercise at the end of a workout, grateful that their arduous routine is over and they feel refreshed. But, yoga isn’t merely about working out, and it’s not just about exercise.

Yoga and gratitude are on the same wave length, as if cast from the shell of positive thinking. Gratitude, because it’s a way of looking at things, and yoga, because it teaches people to embrace the present moment, are naturally able to enhance each other. Gratitude is a way of deeply appreciating the full spectrum of life – the good and the bad, the joy and the suffering. Yoga provides a mindful practice to invite one to respond to the full spectrum of life from the highest place with in oneself. Gratitude teaches people to gain peace of mind. So does yoga. Because both gratitude and yoga feed off of each other, practicing the two together will enhance the benefits of each one. Yoga is a practice that opens the gateway into the wellspring of gratitude that resides within you.

But gratitude isn’t limited to yoga, of course. Being grateful in all aspects of life is essential to a person’s well being. Appreciating your family, your friends, your job, and anything else conducive to happiness facilitates your physical and emotional health.

But, just like other things that are important to health – exercising, eating right, getting adequate sleep – the concept of gratitude can be one that is hard to make adhere. Like mentioned before, gratitude can be easy to lose in the couch cushions of life. But, there are a few tricks of the trade aimed at helping gratitude flourish.

Setting aside a few moments a day, perhaps five or ten minutes, to just reflect on what it is you appreciate today can be helpful. Another thing that can be helpful is getting a small notebook and writing down three or five small things that you are grateful for, like the sunshine, the time to reflect, clean clothes, and a warm cup of tea. Writing is a great tool for self reflection, writing down thoughts of what are you thankful for helps you cultivate gratitude. So much of our health and overall well being is determined by the way we think, programming our brains will program our lives.

Many of us still remember, as children, roaming the halls of our elementary school and walking underneath a sign that read, “Attitude is Everything.” Rolling our eyes at it in childhood angst, we probably didn’t buy this concept. But, as adults, we’ve come to realize that it turns out to be true. Remember, “For Everything, Give Thanks.”

Attitude of Gratitude

By Steven Gillman

An attitude of gratitude? People often to think it will come from having some great luck or fortune. Of course it could feel great to win the lottery, and great friends, money, houses, travel - these are all good things, but not enough by themselves. The right frame of mind is necessary to fully enjoy life. You need the attitude of gratitude.

Gratitude 101

Your life is better when you feel blessed, when you can look around and say "Thank you, God," or "Thank you universe." Whether or not you are religious, when you see life as a wonderful gift, your experience is a richer one. Imagine going through life like you're a child, and every morning is Christmas.

Of course, it is easy to think that gratitude comes from having what we want. We might imagine ourselves giving thanks if we had money, a loving family, and maybe a house on the beach. But we know there are ungrateful, unhappy people with these things. We also know that there are poor people full of gratitude for what little they have, so where does this feeling come from?

Creating Gratitude

An attitude of gratitude arises from how you look at things. It is the natural feeling that comes when you recognize the real value of the people and things in your life. Focus on the good and you cannot help but have a better attitude and experience of life. Gratitude, then, is something you can encourage, something you can learn.

The first step is to stop and smell the roses. How can you be thankful for something you don't notice or enjoy? By the way, roses really do smell great.

The second step is to make this appreciative approach to roses and life a habit. You don't need to ignore the ugliness in the world. Just consciously choose to see the good and beautiful things, until doing so becomes automatic.

One way to encourage this habit is to start writing down every positive thing that happens to you, and all the things you like. Continue this until you start automatically seeing the good things in life. If you've ever bought a white car, and started seeing white cars all over, you know how awareness and focus can alter your perception of reality. In the same way, once you are aware of the good, and start looking for it, you'll start to see wonderful things all over.

Simple exercises like the one above train your mind with time. When you are in the habit of "counting your blessings," gratitude, and a much richer experience of life is the natural result. You will have an attitude of gratitude.

Steve Gillman writes on many topics including brainpower, weight loss, meditation, habits of mind, creative problem solving, generating luck and anything related to self improvement. Learn more and get FREE e-courses at http://www.SelfImprovementNow.com

The Gift of Gratitude

By Kevin Eikenberry

Gratitude might seem like a soft or even an obvious subject to you. Perhaps you would rather read about a leadership lesson or a marketing approach or even a motivational technique. If that is what you are thinking, I urge you to read on. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

From the time we are little kids we are taught to say thank you. It is one of the first things we learn. We are taught to say thank you because our parents know that showing that simple appreciation is polite behavior and because it is the right thing to do. This lesson is one of the most valuable we learn from our parents – one that we should definitely be thankful for.

Warning

There are many ways that we can and should show our gratitude as adults in a business or professional setting. I will share several of them with you, and they will be very valuable to you, if they are used with the right spirit and attitude. Approach them from an authentic attitude and you will reap more than you sow. Consider them as techniques or ploys and you risk being seen as insincere or manipulative.

Some Ideas

Given that caveat, here are some tangible ways to show your gratitude to others in a business or professional setting.

  • Say Thank You. Simple as that. When people do things for you or that you appreciate, say thanks. In person or on the phone, always say it when you can. A simple thank you great, but it will be even more valuable if you are specific as to why you are so thankful.
  • Type Thank You. Drop someone a quick email. If you can’t tell someone in person, sending a quick note of thanks is very powerful. Have you ever kept an email of thanks, reading it over again? I’ll bet you have. This shows why some written proof is so valuable. It is permanent.
  • Write Thank You. I have a file in the drawer beside my desk that has all sorts of notes and kind words I have received from people over the last 20 years. I seldom add something to this file without pulling something else out to relive a kind word written to me. You’ve heard it a million times – handwritten thank you notes are powerful. They are. Take the time to write people a note. Whether they work in the next cubicle, down the hall, or across the country, write out your thanks.
  • Share a token. Across the country in next few weeks lots of business gifts will be given. You will receive holiday fruit, coffee mugs, wine and countless other gifts. All are sent to wish you happy holidays and to thank you for your business or your relationship. These are meant to be gifts of gratitude. Think back on the holiday gifts you have received in the past from professional relationships. Which (if any) are memorable? My guess is those that felt personally selected, or that were especially relevant to your interests, or the relationship with the other person or business. Sharing gifts is a great way to show your gratitude, but will be most effective if done with thought, not but adding another name to the database to receive the flower arrangement.

I know that nothing I have said above is new or earth shattering. It is all common sense. Why do I share it then? I share it with you for several reasons, all of them equally important.

  • Common sense isn’t always common practice.
  • We all need to be reminded.
  • The attitude is as important as the action.

Giving and Receiving

The most wonderful part of giving the gift of gratitude isn’t that giving is the polite thing to do, though it is. It isn’t that it is the right thing to do, though it is. It isn’t even because of how good and important it makes others feel, though it does. The most wonderful part is that when we give the gift of gratitude, with the right spirit, genuinely from our heart, we get as much or more in return for giving the thanks as the receiver gets from receiving it.

The Final Paradox

If you were looking for a leadership lesson, I hope you found it. Great leaders show their gratitude freely and genuinely. If you wanted to learn something about marketing it is here – be gracious. Good marketers know that saying thank and meaning it is good business. If you wanted a motivational idea, giving thanks can be a powerful motivator to both the giver and receiver.

Be thoughtful in your thankfulness, gracious in your giving, and plentiful in your praise of others.

Transform Your Life Through Gratitude and Acceptance

By Dorothy M. Neddermeyer, PhD

As humans our thoughts continually gravitate to resolutions for change—indeed, it can be said, 'the unconscious mind’s job is to continually seek ways to evolve emotionally and spiritually.'

This continual seeking to evolve emotionally and spiritually comes to us through our daily musings, yearnings, speculations, daydreams and nighttime dreams. In fact, our nighttime dreams is the unconscious mind’s way of giving us information—factually and symbolically.

If you tap into and understand the gifts of this genuine, heart-felt information with gratitude and acceptance, you can bring into your life the changes your unconscious mind intended. With gratitude and acceptance you can see how those gifts could easily translate into abundance in all areas—health, happiness, love and success.

Examine your life as it is now.

• How much energy do you put into worry, fear, guilt, shame, humiliation, lament or regret?
• How much energy do you put into listening to your higher self (unconscious)?

As you focus on problems, you expand them and, therefore, you remain where you are, or even worsen your circumstance. Metaphysically, it is a Universal Law that what you focus on is what you create.

Whatever you focus on grows, regardless of whether that focus is positive or negative. The Universe remains neutral; it can only bring to you that into which you put your energy and attention on. This is referred to as the Law of Attraction—an immutable Universal Law.

Accepting your life wherever you find yourself, you can feel gratitude for everything you have. If you have such an acceptance attitude; how would your life change?

Acceptance is the beginning, the starting point for creating a different outcome. Acceptance of what is, allows you to take responsibility for your circumstances. Once you have accepted responsibility you are empowered to make the necessary changes to change your circumstance.
If you are unwilling to accept what is, that leads you to blame something or someone else, thus you are powerless to change it. You can not change something you do not take responsibility for. I realize that is a tall order and flies in the face of everything you believe to be true.

My question to you is: Has everything you believed to be true created what you desire? If not, then maybe it is time to evaluate what you believe and make some changes.

Some people believe that acceptance puts them in the position of resignation to a life they will be stuck with. Paradoxically, what you resist is what you get. Note the definition of the Law of Attraction above.

If you are not struggling against something—judging, criticizing and complaining—you are no longer focused upon it. This allows you the freedom to examine your life without emotional attachment, and recognize that what you have been creating no longer works. Only then can you set new goals, make new choices and think new thoughts.

Every night, before going to sleep, call to mind all the things in your life which bring a feeling of gratitude. Start with the basics, such as: shelter, food and clothing. The basics are what we take for granted; however, you have worked to give these to yourself. Give yourself acknowledgement and gratitude for being willing to do the work to give it to yourself. Allow the feelings of gratitude swell within you.

Then move to other blessings in your life, and allow yourself to fall asleep in that peaceful feeling of safety and comfort. You might even decide to write these items in a ‘gratitude’ notebook for future reference and as a wonderful reminder when you need one.

During the day, any time a negative thought comes into your mind, or a feeling of helplessness or hopelessness enters, replace it with thoughts of gratitude. Take a deep, conscious breath and do an about-face, turning away from the negative thinking as you point yourself in the direction of gratitude. Avoid allowing yourself to dwell on negatives or problems. Shift your energy into feeling comfort and peace. Think about what you want to think, feel, have and be.

Do this without fail for 30 days with the intention of changing your life. Be committed, consistent and persistent with the process. You will be amazed at the positive results!

It is foolhardy to take the importance of acceptance and gratitude lightly. If you realize that the life you have created is your responsibility, then you owe it to yourself to examine what you have been doing, or not doing, that serves you. People tend to take many things for granted, forgetting that you can, at any moment, change what you experience.

It is time to start acknowledging your role in writing the script of your life. There is no time like the present to practice awareness at each and every moment. The now moment is all we truly have, so make the most of it. Cultivate the practice of acceptance and gratitude, and transform your life with acceptance and gratitude one moment at a time.

Have You Chosen Gratitude?

By Kevin Sinclair

Everyone’s life is different and they prefer to live life differently than other people. However, life can be pretty unpredictable with obstacles and challenges arising in our paths all of the time.

Decisions have to be made every single day, such as should I apply for this job, should I be happy or sad? Should I put milk in my coffee? It could be the simplest decision in the world, but, on the other hand, there could be even bigger decisions to make that we could end up regretting.

As every single person is different, each person will have their own set of beliefs. So, in order to apply one theory or belief to everyone in the world, it really is not easy! However, with some theories, it is possible to loosely base them on your own life.

How to Choose Gratitude

Some people like to think that everything happens for a reason. No one knows why we are here and things tend to happen that have coincidences with other things in our lives. That helps us to believe that we are on the right track in life, hence, the ‘everything happens for a reason’ theory.

Other people believe that life is all about choice and that we have lots of decisions to make. People have great power at their disposal to achieve bigger and better things, but, generally, they tend to hold back and become almost like a wallflower than a leader in their own lives. However, if you apply the method ‘power of choice’ and evaluate things, it may help to spark something inside of you. You can either choose to carry on the way you are or you can make a big difference in your life and make it more fulfilling. So it is a matter of believing in yourself and making the right choices for your life.

No one can say that some ones beliefs are right or wrong because people use these beliefs to get them through everyday life. You can chose to take life by the horns and go for the roller coaster ride or concentrate on the negatives and let your life pass you by. Life is too short, so it is all about experiencing as much as you can and making the most of things. So, you can be grateful for what you have or you can be negative and wish you had more.

Jealousy can hamper the way you live your life, too. You may have noticed that there are some people that seem to have it all, such as fast cars, lots of money, big circles of friends, etc. But if you were to ask them if they were truly happy, a lot of them may answer no. You may think this is rubbish but, in fact, most people are scared of dying and, as they say, “you can’t take everything with you”. It is part of human nature to want more than we actually have. It is far more fulfilling to accept what we have than to keep aiming for things that we may never have!

You should concentrate on what you have and not focus on everyone else. Yes, it would be nice to have everything but then you should ask yourself if would you be happy with everything? Would you appreciate having everything? It may take the element of excitement away to have everything that you want. What do you get someone that has everything? Some people who have everything are unhappy and ungrateful and expect more. These people do not feel gratitude and they will probably be searching for happiness in all of the wrong places.

Do you feel gratitude in life? Have you thanked God for feeling blessed in your life or thanked someone for helping you to achieve things. Taking the time out to look at all of the good things in your life and the people around you is a good feeling.

So you, too, could feel fulfilled and lead a good life full of gratitude towards the world you live in and recognize the good things everyone around you does. Appreciating the finer things in life can do one’s self a power of good and it also gives a good state of mind! So, choose gratitude and live a happier life today!

Law of Attraction: Good Vibrations

By Kate Corbin

“Good, good, good, good vibrations . . . I’m picking up good vibrations.” – Beach Boys

It’s All About the Vibe. When the Beach Boys’ song, Good Vibrations, topped the pop charts in 1966, the concept of Energy and vibrations was still fairly new to most people. Forty years later, more and more people are coming to understand that it’s all about the vibe. And more and more people are coming to understand the Law of Attraction and how our vibrations determine whether we’re attracting into our lives what we want or what we don’t want.

Every thought, every feeling, every person, every thing is Energy, which vibrates and radiates a signal. According to the Law of Attraction, as these signals are transmitted, signals of the same frequency are magnetically attracted back to the sender. For example, your dominant vibration, which is formed as a result of your thoughts and feelings, attracts an identical frequency from the Universe. What you experience, therefore, is always a vibrational match to your dominant vibration. To align vibrationally with your desire, the most important thing is to feel good. Feeling good = good vibrations.

Choose Thoughts that Feel Good. The trick is to pay attention to how you feel because your feelings give you feedback about what you’re attracting and creating. If a thought feels good, you’re in the process of attracting what you do want. If a thought feels bad, you’re in the process of attracting people and circumstances that you do not want.

Many people have habits of thought that do not feel good and do not serve them well – for example, worrying about not having enough money or fearing illness and decline. Once you understand what your feelings are telling you, it’s just a matter of choosing thoughts that feel good (such as joy, love, empowerment, freedom, and appreciation) over thoughts that feel bad (such as fear, despair, powerlessness, anger, and worry). As you gently and consistently choose better feeling thoughts, your life will improve on every level.

“Reach for thoughts that feel good so that what comes always feels good.” – Abraham-Hicks

Take-Home Message. When you focus on feeling good and visualizing your life the way you want it to be, you raise your vibration so that it aligns with your desires and attracts what you want. Here’s the take-home message regarding vibrations:

To attract what you DO want and avoid attracting what you DO NOT want –
Choose Good Vibrations – Choose Thoughts that Feel Good!

Law of Attraction: Think + Feel = Attract

By Kate Corbin

“That which is like unto itself is drawn.” – Abraham-Hicks

Like Attracts Like. The Law of Attraction, the most powerful Law in the Universe, states that you draw to yourself whatever you focus on – whether you want it or not. Like attracts like. Birds of a feather flock together. As you vibrate, you attract. You are a vibrational being interacting in a vibrational Universe. According to the Law of Attraction, vibrations of a certain frequency magnetically bond with other vibrations of the same frequency.

As children, we gained real world experience with the Law of Gravity as we dropped our toys and fell down again and again. The Law of Attraction has been working just as consistently in our lives, but most of us haven’t fully understood it. Like the Law of Gravity, the Law of Attraction works perfectly and impartially at all times in all situations for all people. It is, therefore, always fair. It neither rewards nor punishes – although it may appear that way to someone who is fuzzy on the process.

The Law of Attraction responds to your vibrational offering with a matching vibrational response. Your vibrational offering is composed of your thoughts and accompanying feelings -- your "Thought-Feelings." Thought-Feelings are Energy and, like magnets, attract more Thought-Feelings of the same vibration.

As you Think, you Feel
As you Feel, you Vibrate
As you Vibrate, you Attract

At every moment, you attract to yourself what you are giving your attention to. You draw to yourself the essence of what you predominantly think and feel. By consciously focusing your Thought-Feelings, you can attract what you want. And, happily, you can avoid attracting what you do not want.

As you understand the Law of Attraction, you will:

  • learn to activate a vibration that feels good by choosing what you give your attention to
  • create your reality in accordance with your desires
  • experience the joy of infinite possibility
  • feel boundless appreciation that you know how to be and do and have whatever you desire.

Directing Energy. You create your life by noticing how your thoughts make you feel and consistently choosing thoughts that feel good. As you continue to practice directing your thoughts, you will realize that you are the Master Creator of your own Life and that you really can be and do and have whatever you desire.

As you set your dominant vibration to something that pleases you, the Universe will respond with more things that please you. As you focus single-mindedly on what you want, you are no longer giving Energy to what you do not want. Therefore, what you do not want no longer influences your experience.

Because you get what you think about whether you want it or not, the take-home message of the Law of Attraction is:

Direct all your Energy toward what you do want.
Avoid directing any Energy toward what you do not want.

What is the Law of Attraction?

By Aaron Potts

The Law of Attraction - in its simplest form - states that "like attracts like". Whatever you focus on the most is what will be most attracted to your life. At first glance, that would seem to state that since we all think about being healthy, rich, and having fulfilling lives, that we should all be living happily ever after, right?

Wrong. Although it is true that if we properly focused on those things that they would come to us in abundance, the truth is that most people don't focus on having those things - they focus on the fact that they DON'T have those things!

So, going back to the definition of the Law of Attraction - "like attracts like". If all you ever do is think about how much you wish you were healthy, or how much you wish you were rich, or how much you wish you were happy, do you know what the Universal Law of Attraction will bring you? You guessed it - a life full of wishing you had all of those things.

The only way to attract what you desire in life is to allow yourself to understand what it would feel like to have what you want, to allow yourself to believe that you will have it, that you deserve it, and by focusing on those positive feelings and beliefs on a consistent basis.

It seems way too simple to be true, right? It is hard for you to believe that just by thinking about having a new car that you will get one. You can't grasp the fact that by just thinking about getting promoted at work that it will happen. You refuse to believe that by feeling positive about your life, that your fulfilling life will come to pass.

So, let's see if you have been paying attention. If you believe that it's not possible to get that car, that promotion, or that fulfilling life, guess what you are attracting with the Universal Law of Attraction? That's right - NOT having those things!

In order to invoke the Law of Attraction for positive gain, you must visualize the things that you want, feel in your heart what it will be like to have them, and believe that you will get them. It really is just that simple! However, after spending decades of our lives being taught to "work hard for what we want", we can't bring ourselves to believe that anything less than hard work will bring those things into our lives.

Now, don't misunderstand. The Law of Attraction is not "magic". You won't manifest material goods or personal success simply by thinking about them. However, the Universe WILL provide methods for you to gain those things, and hard work may or may not be part of that equation.

For that reason, it is important for you to remember that you have to be aware. When you train your mind to send out the positive emotional vibrations into the Universe that will bring these things to you, the Universe WILL answer. However, if you aren't paying attention, you will not be home when Opportunity comes knocking at your door!

The Law of Attraction is not some sort of mystical mumbo-jumbo, but rather scientific fact. The key is in knowing how to use that science, and the consistent application of those scientific principles.
